Savannah Trolleys & Art

My husband and I just got back from Savannah, GA and I was surprised and delighted to hear that the streetcars run on recycled cooking oil from the local restaurants. On top of that, they no longer use overhead wires.

Now this may be old news for those with trolleys running around, but it was new to me.

While there, we jumped over to Tybee Island and ran across some recycled art. I just had to stop. Personally, if you couldn't tell by now, I love this kind of stuff.





I loved Savannah and Tybee Island too. Of course, truth is, I love travelling in general. There's been very few places I haven't enjoyed.
